BANK RECEIVER SUES Cardington Official Applies for Right to Assign Bond. MT GILEAD, June David P Anderson. receiver of the First National bank of Cardington. has filed application in common pleas court for the right to assign a government bond in the matter of Mrs. Delight Schaaf. Raymond Dailey has filed suit for partition of 70 acres of land in South Bloomfield township naming Russell Dailey, Ethel Dailey, Bessie Brubaker, Charles Brubaker. George Dupee, Paul Dupee. Ruby Dailey and Daisey Dailey as defendants and heirs of the late Charles W. Dailey. The Southard Production Co. of Dayton has filed foreclosure action against John F. Bumpus as administrator of the estate of H. T. Winterbotham. The suit is based on note for $800 secured by 2 mortgage on 40 acres of land in Canaan township. Roger K. Powell. Dayton attorney and former Mt. Gilead resident. represents the Dayton company.

Life Sentence for Slayer Of Gentry JEFFERSON, Wis., July 5β€”(AP)β€”Carl Church, 36, itinerant laborer, was sentenced in circuit court late today to life imprisonment in the state penitentiary for the slaying of Earl Gentry, 47, former bodyguard of D. C. Stephenson, one-time grand dragon of the Ku Klux Klan in Indiana. NAMED BANK RECEIVER GALION, O., July 5β€”(AP)β€”Succeeding David P. Anderson of Columbus, resigned, W. V. Goshorn, a local publisher, today was appointed receiver for the First National bank at Cardington and the First National bank at Richwood.
