CARDER EXPECTED TO DIE WESTON, Oct. 21 (AP).—Charles R. Carder, 50 years old, Huntington receiver for the Weston National Exchange bank, lay between life and death in a hospital today with little chance for recovery from the bullet wound he inflicted in his head yesterday. The bullet entered Carder's right temple, severed the optic nerve and emerged from the left temple.
