The Litchfield Bank. HARTFORD, Nov. 15, 1854. The Litchfield Bank had a hearing before Judge Hilsworth, in this city, this afternoon. The Bank Comnissioners made a report, showing the bank to be insolvent, and not in a condition to go on. The bank was enjoined, and Abijah Catlin and F. E. Harrison were appointed receivers. Four months is allowed for the presentation of claims against the bank. The affairs of the bank are at present in a bad condition, but the receivers are pracpractical business men, in whose hands every dollar that can be made available will be received for the benefit of the creditors.
