Multiple contemporaneous articles (Feb 12โ13, 1932) report the Junction City State Bank temporarily suspended operations pending a state banking department examination immediately after the cashier was arrested on charges of issuing checks with insufficient funds and alleged theft/embezzlement. No article in the provided set reports a depositor run or a reopening; given the criminal charges and suspension for examination, I classify this as suspension leading to closure (suspension_closure). If later reopening or receivership information exists outside these clippings, the classification may change.
