LOUIS WILDE 010 1:3 1071 IS ORDERED erric ARRESTED Portland, Or., July 3.-The arrest of Louis J. Wilde, at San Diego, was ordered by Sheriff Stevens, of Multnomah county, this afternoon, and a telegraphic warrant was wired to Los Angeles immediately. Wilde's bond of $2000 was raised to $50,000 by Judge Gantenbein. Wilde is wanted in Portland on a grand jury indictment charging embezzlement in connection with the sale of a $500,000 block of Omaha Independent Telephone stock to the suspended Oregon Trust & Savings bank, of Portland. Wilde was indicted Friday jointly with W. Cooper Morris, former cashier of the Oregon Trust company, who is now serving a term in the Oregon penitentiary for bank wrecking. They were charged with larceny by embezzlement of $90,000. The document Continued on page two.
