Four More Chicago Banks Are Closed CHICAGO, June 24.β(AP)βThe National Bank of Woodlawn, on the southside, and the Ravenswood National Bank in the uptown district were closed by Federal bank examiners today. The Woodlawn National had deposits of $2,240,385 last January. The Ravenswood National had deposits of $500,000. The Kaspar-American State Bank on the Southwest side was next to be closed. Its deposits had been $400,000. The Central Manufacturing District Bank was closed at noon. Its deposits were listed at $3,500,000.
