CLOSED ITS DOORS YESTERDAY LIABILITIES $30,000 OR 35,000. ASSETS $15,000 ED BURNEY MADE RECEIVER By Judge Dickerson-A New Bank Will be Organized at Once The Bank of Rush Springs suspended business yesterday morning. Judge Diskerson was notified soon after the bank closed and he ap poiuted a receiver at once, Ed Burney being named. According to notification received here the liabilities of the bank are between $30,000 and $35,000 while the assets are abont $15,000. The bank had a capital stock of $20,000. It is stated that the failure of the bank is attributed to guaranteeing a feed bill for a large cattle feeder, Stephan Brown, cashier of the bank, is well known as a bright young business man and has always possessed the entire confidence of the business community. Rush Springs will not be without a e bank very long. Ed F. Johns, cashier of the Citizens National Bank, has already taken the prelimitary steps necessary to starting a national bank. He went to Rush Springs last night to look over the situation and stated that he expects to organize the First National Bank of Rush Springs.

NOTICE. It the United States Court in and for the Southern District of the Indian Territory at Chickasha. In the matter of the Receiver ship of the Bank of Rush Springs. Be it known that on this the 10th day of September, 1906, this cause came on to be heard upon the applacation for the court to fix the time in which creditors of the Bank of Rush Springs may prove their claims against the estate of said Bank of Rush Springs by filing same with the receiver, and the court being fully advised in the premises and being of the opinion that the time should be limited. It is therefore ordered, adjuged and decreed by the court that all persons who have claims against the Bank of Rush Springs or against the Bank of Rush Springs or against the stockholders, individually, shall file the same with the receiver within one month from the date of the first publication this order. It is futher ordere that this notice shall be published in the Chickasha Daily and Weekly EXPRESS a newspaper having general circulation in the Southern District of the Indian Territory, for a period of 30 days.
