MILLBURG BANK RECEIVER NAMED Kenneth Gustafson, St. Joseph building has pointed the receiver the Millburg State Bank, according to word ceived here from Lansing today. Mr. Gustafson has been called to Lansing by Rudolph Reichert, the state where he will report Friday The Millburg State Bank has been operated by since the banking holiday of 1933.

White Orders Sale of Bonds by Millburg Bank Receiver Circuit Judge Charles E. White Tuesday signed an order permitting Kenneth Gustafson, receiver for the Millburg State bank, to sell $6,600 of Federal Farm mortgage bonds at a price of not less than 101 plus accrued interest. The bonds include $5,500 worth of 1944-49 3s and $1,100 of 1942-47 3s. LONG LAKE.β€”A rehearsal for the play, "This Thing Called Love," to be given by the Brown school P. T. A. at the Neighborhood club house April 12, was held at the home of Mrs. Marguerite Jones Monday evening. There will be a short playlet added to the program "School Daze," which has 18 characters.

MILLBURG BANK SETS DIVIDEND The Tribune's Special Service. BENTON HARBOR, Mich., July 11.β€”Depositors of the closed Millburg State bank, east of this city, will receive a dividend of 35 per cent, according to a statement made by the bank's receiver, Kenneth R. Gustafson. It will be the first dividend to be paid by the bank since it was closed more than a year ago after being operated by a conservator following the national bank holiday. The dividend will amount to $46,900 and has been authorized by the state banking department.

Millburg Bank Receiver Files Circuit Court Suits Two suits were filed in Berrien circuit court today by Kenneth Gustafson, receiver for the Millburg State bank. Harry B. Weber, Millburg, was sued for $500 to recover $200 stock assessment on two shares of stock. The second suit was filed against George Nothdurft and Henrietta Nothdurft Schneck to recover $331.42 together with interest on a note signed by the defendants Dec. 15, 1933. The plaintiff asks for a judgment in the sum of $400. Attorney Charles W. Stratton represents the receiver.
