COUNTY'S TO RECORDED Seeks To Recover $5,000 In Funds Deposited In Defunct Fountain Inn Bank The complaint has been drawn and will soon be on the in the case Walter Miller, treasurer for Greenville county, against the South Carolina Savings bank, receiver defunct Bank of Inn and the U. Fideland Guaranty company, announced yesterday by County Attorney K. Mauldin. The case involves $5,000 of the county's funds which were on deposit the Bank of Fountain Inn when became year. The county, reality had $15,000 on deposit in the but this case, based upon bond, which, alleged, secured funds and protected the county. The bond was for $5,000, the complaint sets fourth. From the office of the county attorney came the statement yesterday that when demands were made upon the bonding company for the $5,000 in question the bonding company stating that the legal time of the bond had expired. The county, was pointed out, took the position that the bank became insolvent before the bond expired and therefore the arose before the bank closed.
