RUN ON BANK WAS SUCCESSFULLY MET IN KALAMAZOO-CAUSED BY COURT PROCEEDINGS. (By Publishers' Press.) KALAMAZOO, Mich., Nov. 29.-A run on the Kalamazoo Savings Bank was successfully met Monday. The run was caused by the announcement that a bill had been filed in the Circuirt Court to reopen the Henry Brees estate, of which R. J. Williamson, vice president and cashier of the bank, is executor, and in which the bank was made one of the defendants. The officers of the bank announced at six o'clock last night that there was more money on hand than when the run began.

DEPOSITORS DREW OUT $50,000 IN A BANK RUN Kalamazoo, Mich., Nov. 29.-Excited savings depositors of the Kalamazoo Savings bank yesterday created a run on the institution, and drew during the day about 50,000 of their deposits, but after keeping the bank open two hours later than usual, the officials considered the run broken. It was said that the run was caused by the suit begun here last week by some of the heirs of the Henry Brees estate. Part of the funds of the estate were kept in the bank. and the Institution was made defendant with the executors This fact is believed to have been misunderstood by a number of the depositors
