Bank Receiver Releases Report On Collections The Boise City National bank has collected $1,104,783.83 from assets and stock assessments since it closed August 1, 1932, a report Monday by J. L. Eckerson, receiver, revealed. Of this $28,835.64 was collected from stock assessments, out of a total assessment of $375,000. Uncollected assets remaining are $1,715,288.34. Secured liabilities paid a total of $722,337.61. The dividend paid to depositors last May amounts to $252,677.16. The RFC loan of $53,000 has been repaid; there has been $46,399.93, including more than $12,000 in taxes and the costs of operation of the building, paid out by the receivership. Earnings of the receivership, largely from operation of the bank building, are $54,095.17.
BANK RECEIVER IS PROGRESSING Collections for Boise City to Date Total $1,395,499, Eckerson Reports Collections of $1,395,449.63 have been made by the receivership of the Boise City National bank since the institution closed its doors August 1, 1932, the quarterly report of J. L. Eckerson, receiver, made public Saturday, disclosed. Of these collections, $1,148,101.22 came from assets and the stock assessment. Premiums and rentals have amounted to $60,394.23, and an RFC loan of $186,500 is among the receipts.
Bank Receiver Sues Stockholders Suit for $1800 was started Thursday by J. L. Eckerson, receiver of the Boise City National bank, against Margaret Georgianna Munro. The suit is one of several instituted against stockholders of the bank on their assessments on stock. Under the national banking act a stockholder is liable to an assessment to the total amount of the par value of his stock in case the money is necessary to meet obligations of the bank. Mrs. Munro is the owner of 18 shares of $100 par value each. The bank closed August 1, 1932, and since then two dividends, totaling 33 1-3 per cent, have been paid.
BANK RECEIVER WINS JUDGMENT IN LAWSUIT Judgment of $2074.75 was granted J. L. Eckerson, receiver of Boise City National bank, against Margaret Georgiana Munro, a stockholder. Removal of a criminal charge against William Evans to the northern district of California was ordered by the court. Evans is charged with stealing a truck at Minersville, Cal. Irving Trust company, Chase National bank, and the Chemical Bank and Trust company, petitioners in the matter of Mesa Orchards, alleged bankrupt, filed application for dismissal of the case.
BANK RECEIVER ISSUES REPORT Defunct Boise Institution Estimated to Be Worth Nearly $475,000 Cash on hand totaling $22,446.55 and uncollected assets estimated to be worth approximately $475,000 were reported Wednesday in the regular quarterly report of Ross Madden, receiver of the Boise City National bank. Assets at the closing of the bank August 1, 1932, were estimated at $3,042,016.81 book value, together with a stock assessment of $375,000. Cash collected has totaled $1,486,703.44 out of assets and $50,439.02 from stock assessments. Uncollected assets have a book value of $1,134,171.26, scaled down to the book value given. Uncollected assessments totaling $283,454.50 have an estimated or appraised value of $72,965.
