LAFAYETTE BOND MEN ORGANIZE NEW FIRM Two former officers of the bond department of the old Lafayette-South Side Bank and Trust Company, namely G. R. Eckhardt and Joseph G. Petersen, will shortly form an investment corporation with quarters on south Broadway, near the Manufacturers Bank and Trust Company, for the purpose of taking over the business of the old Lafayette-South Side, as well as to do a general investment business. The Manufacturers Bank is liquidating agent for the Lafayette, which it succeeded, but it will not have any investment affiliate, since it would conflict with the provisions of the Glass-Steagall act, passed by Congress last spring. Dr. Lowe's Bible Class. Tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock Dr. Arnold W. Lowe will conduct a Bible class at Kingshighway Presbyterian Church, corner Cabanne avenue.
