Description

Contemporary articles (Dec 19, 1925) report a run that depleted cash and the board ordered the bank to close; national bank examiner and later a receiver were placed in charge. The bank never reopens and was liquidated under a receiver (receiver reports and asset sales through 1929โ€“1932). Cause of the run is not described as a rumor or specific scandal in the articles, so I label the immediate cause as 'other' (heavy withdrawals/deposit losses).
