Leonard. Its assets exceed its liabilities in the sum of $169,000, the assets amounting to $687,126. and its liabilities to $518,126. It announced that the depositors will be paid in full as soon as liquidation can be effected. The bank was or ganized under the state law of 1871, with a capital stock of $100,000.

INDICT BANK OFFICALS. SHREVEPORT, La., Oct. 22.-In the District Court today indictments were returned against Albert H. Leonard, P. J. Trevasant, C. S. Bauman and R. L. Mayfield, former officials of the defunct Merchants' and Farmers' Bank and Trust Company of this city, charging them with having received deposits and created debts knowing the bank to be insolvent. The bank, which had a capital of $100,000, suspended operations last April. The officials are among the most prominent citizens of Shreveport.
