Meat prices in New York, even of the best cuts, are lower than they have been in many months because supplies are more abundant. Peoples Bank and Realty Savings & Trust Co., of Savannah, Ga., were placed in the hands of the State Bank Examiner, due to heavy withdrawals of deposits.
