Ohio Banker Held On Shortage Charge CANTON, O., Feb. 16.—(AP)—C. A. Hanner, vice president of the Canton Bank, of Canton, was arrested today on a charge of embezzlement and the state banking department took over the institution to preserve its assets following discovery of a $25,000 shortage in accounts. Officers of the bank issued a statement expressing belief all depositors will be paid in full. MICHIGAN GRADUATE TO SPEAK Roger Becker, graduate of the University of Michigan, will be the speaker for the supper meeting of the Reitz Hi-Y club at 6:30 o'clock Monday evening in the school cafeteria. Lawrence Page, sponsor, will be in charge of the program, and Henry Poole, president, will preside.
