SUPERIOR, Wis.-(A. The Rusk County Bank of Ladysmith failed to open Thursday morning following a two-day "run" on the bank during which $25,000 was withdrawn, it was stated to the Telegram by L. C. Etrecher, vice president and cashier of the bank over long distance telephone. Mr. Strecher stated that this amount was a very small percentage of the actual deposits, which are in the neighborhood of $600.000. LADYSMITH-Another dividend will soon be paid by the Rusk County Bank, now in process of liquidation. according to the petition of Receiver Allen who asks permission of Judge Wickham to pay 15 per cent dividend. and this matter will come before the judge September 19. A dividend of ten per cent was paid depositors about three months ago. This second dividend will mean about $90000 being paid out to depositors. most of whom live in Rusk county.
