W. MANCHESTER BANK TO REOPEN FOR BUSINESS Ohio State Banking Department Issues License for Normal Activities WEST MANCHESTER, Ohio, Mar. 29.βUnder license just granted by the Ohio State Banking Department the First State Bank of West Manchester will reopen for normal business activities at noon, Saturday, after a suspension of operations dating back to the Federal Bank Holiday of March, 1933. Announcement was made today that coincident with the reopening of the bank a 50 per cent payment will be made on all deposits of more than $25. Deposits which are less than that amount will be refunded in full. After issuance of additional stock an organization meeting is to be held. Hold-over officers of the Bank are Carl A. Leas, president; R. G. Howell, vice-president; Charles A. Ford, secretary. With the reopening of the institution Robert P. Eyer will serve as cashier. Prior to the closing of the bank Mr. Eyer served as assistant cashier. During the past year, during which time the Bank has been under a conservator, Mr. Eyer served as liquidating agent. The 50 per cent payment to be made Saturday will be the first dividend received by depositors since the Bank suspended operations.
