State Witness Absent, Woman's Trial Postponed FERNANDINA. April Illness in the family of John W. Williams. state auditor. today caused postponement for this term of court of the scheduled trial of Mrs. Elizabeth Higginbotham. former Nassau county tax collector charged with embezzlement. NEGRO CHARGED WITH STEALING GAS IS HELD LARGO BANK RECEIVER TO HAVE CHECKS TODAY CLEARWATER, Aug. 12.-Nelson Bell, negro, who was arrested Thurs. day by Constable Jack Strickland and charged with stealing gasoline from trucks in the county warehouse at Largo, was bound over to circuit court under $500 bond following a preliminary hearing this morning before Magistrate C. Moore. L.
