CORDELE BANK INSOLVENT. CORDELE, March 19.-The Farmers' State bank of Cordele, of which J. A. Wilson, of this city, is president, went into the hands of receiver yesterday morning, after the directors of the institution had concluded to close its doors for the purpose of liquidation. The assets are $76,000 and the liabilities less than $400,000. The bank is capitalized at $35,000. B. H. Palmer was appointed reciever and immediately took charge of the bank's affairs.

SHERIFF SALE GEORGIA, Crisp Count. Will be sold on the first Tuesday in December next, at the court house in said county, between the legal hours of sale, to the highest bidder, for cash, the following property to wit: The life interest of W. D. Dorough in lot of land No. sixty (60) in the eleventh (11) land district of Crisp County, Georgia. Said land levied on as the property of W. D. Dorough to satisfy an execution issued from the Superior Court of said county in favor of B. H. Palmer as Receiver for Farmers State Bank, J. A. Ward, Transferee, vs. W. D. Dorough.
