TWO BANKS ARE CLOSED WAYNESBORO, Ga., Aug. 15. (AP)—The Citizens Bank of Waynesboro and Waynesboro Savings Bank suspended business temporarily Monday morning. This suspension was brought about by the recent insolvency of the Bankers Trust Company of Atlanta. Steps have already been taken towards reorganizing at which time the two banks will be merged. It is understood that the liabilities will be taken care of. LITTLE JUNE WILLIAMS DIES FORSYTH, Ga., Aug. 16.—June, the three-year-old daughter of Mrs. J. A. Williams, of Forsyth, died at 2 o'clock this afternoon following a short illness. Interment will be in Forsyth cemetery tomorrow afternoon following services at the Methodist church at 3:30. She is survived by her parents and an infant brother; by her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Williams, of Culloden, and her maternal grandfather, E. W. Ross, of Barnesville.
