Monday Club Christmas Party The annual Christmas party of the Woman's Monday club was held at the Community House Monday afternoon. The meeting was in charge of Mrs. J. H. McAllister, Mrs. F. E. Deming, Mrs. Mary Hess, Mrs. James Gordon and Mrs. T. H. Smith, who are the American home department committee. Roll call was responded to by Christmas quotations. Mrs. J. M. Barr read Dickens' "Christmas Carols". A group of school children under the direction of Miss Alberta Phillips gave a number of musical selections. This was followed by a social hour, a Christmas tree and the exchange of gifts. The social entertainment was in charge of Mrs. Floyd Shear and Mrs. G. N. Westbrook. English plum pudding and tea was served with Mrs. F. E. Deming presiding at the tea table. The next regular meeting will be held at 8:00 o'clock at the Community House with Dr. Whitehouse of Albion college the speaker. Music will be furnished by students from Albion college.
