Lions International Elects Anderson Man Governor of District COLUMBIA, S. C., May (AP) Dr. J. O. Sanders, of Anderson. was elected governor of the 32nd district of Lions International. and Anderson selected as the convention city for 1928. at the closing session of the fourth annual convention of the South Carolina Lions Clubs in Columbia Friday morning Dr. Sanders as served during the past year as deputy district governor. and sueceeds Ashley C. Tobias, Jr., of Columbia in his new position Other officers elected at the convention's business session are: L. O. Patterson of Greenville. upper state deputy district governor: and R. A. Goldschmidt of Columbia. secretary, permanently elected on motion of the convention. Mr. Goldschmidt succeeds Homer M. Pace, of Charleston. who has served as seeretary during the past year.
