Expect Depositors Of Bank Will Be Paid In Full SPRINGFIELD, ILL., Jan. 13β€”(UP)β€”The Blue Island Trust and Savings Bank, Blue Island, was closed today for examination and adjustment, according to an announcement by State Auditor Oscar Nelson here. The state has concluded its inquiry into the condition of the Donnellson State Bank, which closed a week ago Saturday. A report on the bank's affairs has been placed in the hands of Nelson and he will take action with a view to appointing a receiver or reorganizing the bank within a week or ten days. The bank was closed by the voluntary action of its directors and the next day V. A. Mansfield, president, committed suicide. A shortage and frozen assets were blamed for the bank's suspension. Depositors however, are expected to be paid in full.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Jan. 13. β€” The Blue Island Trust and Savings bank, Blue Island, was closed today for examination and adjustment, according to an announcement by State Auditor Oscar Nelson here. The bank on December 31 had a capital of $150,000, a surplus of $50,000 and deposits of $1,425,000. F. C. Brincker is president of the bank. The state has concluded its inquiry into the condition of the Donnellson State bank, which closed a week ago Saturday. A report on the bank's affairs has been placed in the hands of Nelson and he will take action with a view to appointing a receiver or reorganizing the bank within a week or ten days.
