MOORESVILLE BANK RECEIVER IS NAMED [Special to The Indianapolis Star.) MARTINSVILLE Ind., Jan. 11.Amos Gillaspy of Clay township has been appointed receiver for the Mooresville State bank by Judge C. Vernon after hearing in Circuit court for receiver was filed by the actorney general's office after an investigation was made by State Banking Commissioner Luther F. MOORESVILLE BANK RECEIVER IS NAMED Amos Gillaspy of Clay township has been appointed receiver for the Mooresville State bank by Judge C. G. Vernon after hearing in Circuit court. The petition for a receiver was filed by the attorney general's office after an investigation was made by State Banking Commissioner Luther F. -Symons following the closing of the bank. No allega tion of insolvency was made the petition for a receiver. Mr. Gillaspy's bond was fixed at $30,000. He will take charge after his bond is approved, and will attempt to liquidate the bank's assets. A movement is under way at Mooresville to organise? a new bank to be owned and operated by Mooresville citizens.
