FOREST BANK RECEIVES PERMISSION TO OPEN Forest, March 22.β€”The Citizens Bank of Forest was reopened Saturday morning after being closed during the banking holiday. The bank received permission from the state banking department. The bank is reopened under class "B". The checking restrictions are the $10 per day limitation. The honor roll at the school was received by the following students: Seventh grade, Janet Avery 95.25; Elizabeth Borders 94.50. Ninth grade, John F. Davis 94.25, and Mary Inez Deford 91.25. Tenth grade, Mary Edith Knight 94; Jean Patton 93.75; Paul Merton Stanley 92.50; Mary Fae Snodgrass 93.25; Kenneth Stroup 92.25; Helen Knight, Eleventh grade 91.75. Twelfth grade, Dora Strong 94.75; Ruby DeFord 91.25; Pauline McQuinn 92. The seniors have received their class play book and have just started to practice on the play, "The Spare Room". They are planning to give this about the middle of April. Mr. and Mrs. James Kramer are the parents of a son named James Thomas Kramer. Monkey and Dog at Wedding Among those present at the wedding of Lady Mercy Dean and Patrick H. N. Gamble in Chelsea, England, recently, were a small, excited, chattering monkey and a Bedlington terrier. They are pets of the bride. "Bimbo," the monkey, wore a Red Riding Hood jacket, with a hat and white bow. "Peter," the dog, also wore a red coat and white bow. The animals attracted such a crowd that the police had to disperse it. There were eight hundred guests at the wedding.
