Those of the "A" class have only moderate restrictions on currency withdrawals while those of the "B" class are open with a 5 percent restrictions on withdrawals. Eighteen banks, including five Federal Reserve member state banks, are still closed. The seven for which receiverships will be sought are: The Markle State bank; the Harlan State bank; the Farmers' State bank of New Lisbon; the Mount Summit State bank; the Citizens bank of Amo; the Farmers' State bank of Moreland; and the Henry County State bank of Spiceland. Attack Made on Report Filed by Finance Director COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 24.—The report by Finance Director Howard L. Bevis covering an investigation of charges made against Highway Director O. W. Merrell and W. D. Van Ness, highway department auditor, in connection with the purchase of automobile truck parts from the state of Michigan, was attacked today by Secretary of State George Myers as "the expected white wash." Ridiculing the report, Mr. Myers declared that information that was available had been ignored entirely in the investigation. "The white wash report indicates that the director of finance did not interview the Michigan authorities," said Mr. Myers. "In order to be fair he should have interviewed both parties to this transaction." The DeWitt Clinton high school for boys in New York is the largest high school in America.
