$21,000 'BAD CHECK' CASE DISMISSED Because W. M. Leise, principal witness for the state, failed to appear, the case against W. E. Savage, and Mrs. Fay Clark, jointly charged with passing a worthless check for $21,000 was dismissed in Council Bluffs this morning. Leise was cashier of the Central State bank, on which the check was drawn. The bank has since suspended business, and Leise is believed to be somewhere in Oklahoma.
