Peter Kruizenga, 29; Sioux Center, and Katherine Sas, 24, Orange City. 6,850 Auto Licenses Up to the latter part of February. nearly 6,850 automobile licenses had been issued Sioux county, many more than had been issued last year at this same time. New Cases Filed The following cases have been filed for district court: P. S. Wick & Co. asks judgment of Jas. Dewen on a note of $50. Jos. Bachman & Co. of Granville asks judgment against Ferd Gaul in the sum of $69.95.for merchandise purchased in 1928. Dr. A. L. Fink asks judgment from the same defendant in the sum of $250 for professional services performed in the summer of 1928. Farmers Hall Insurance Asso. of Iowa asks judgment in the sum of $49.78 of A. Jacobs, said amount being assessments due on hall insurance. The same insurance company E H. Den Herder same cause in the sum of $59.26 Travelers Insurance E Co., VS Geo. E. Jeffers, et al. The insurance company asks a special execution of mortgaged property to satisfy a judgment amounting to $18,530.50. Carl Kooren asks judgment in the sum of $489 of M. Vander Sloot. The Farmers Lumber Co. of Rock Valley has supplied the John Kurvink family with coal to the amount of $177.90, and asks judgment for this amount. The court issued an order on February 23 to the receiver of the Hawarden State Bank to pay a 15% dividend to creditors of the bank. The receiver Basked permission to pay the dividend. This makes 30% dividends paid back to depositors of this bank. Receiver's Report The following receiver's report has been filed, showing the condition of the Alton and Ireton Northwestern Banks: Cash on hand January 31, $24, 155.81; receipts during December, $2,775.77; during January, $4,707.14; paid to janitor, $60; telephone, light and repairs, $33.59; receiver's bond, $250 00: receivers' salaries, $600; demand loan, $700; auctioneer's fees, $42.25; insurance, $33.30; other repairs, $12.45; court costs, $13.65.
Widows Allowance Orders. for allowance of widow's pension funds were issued to Mrs. Katrina Miller and seven children to the amount of $2.50 per week for each child; to Mrs. Margaret Karr and seven children in the same amount, and Mrs. Florence Rhodes and one child to the amount of $2.00 per week. Probate notices are as follows: In the Frederica Larsen estate, John Anderson appointed administrator. Garretje Korthals estate, Ben J. Meylink, administrator. Ellen M. Stowe estate.
