Grain Company Fails. Union City, Tenn., Aug. 30.-"The Hardy Grain Company, one of the largest firms of the kind in the state, made an assignment today. Liabilities assets $100,000. $136,000, George Hardy, president of the company, accidentally shot and killed himself last week. "Because of the failure a run was made on the Union City Bank and Trust Company. Other banks came to its assistance, however, and the run was stopped."
