ASKS ASSESSMENT OF 100 PER CENT Receiver for Farmers State Bank, Vicksburg, and Stockholders Heard. Hearing was held Friday afternoon before Judge George V. Weimer on a suit brought by Karl Gibson, receiver of Farmers State Bank of Vicksburg, for the assessment of stock liability against several alleged stockholders in the bank. Proofs were concluded during the afternoon, and the matter was adjourned for the filing of briefs and arguments by the attorneys.

ARGUMENTS HEARD IN BANK RECEIVER SUIT Arguments of attorneys were made Tuesday afternoon before Judge George V. Weimer in a suit brought by Karl Gibson, receiver of Farmers State Bank of Vicksburg, against L. H. and Ferris H. Oswalt, Charles J. Hudson, Donald C. Richardson, Claude E. Williams, R. E. Fair, Mary E. Harley, and William E. White, Charles G. Porter, and Myrta Betts, alleged stockholders in the bank. Gibson is asking the court to order a 100 per cent stock assessment against the defendants. Hearing was held last Friday before Judge Weimer, who has the case under advisement. Arguments were made Tuesday afternoon by Charles H. Farrell for the plaintiff, and by Harry C. Howard and Don B. Sharpe for the defendants. The attorneys also expect to file briefs.
