CHARLES MIX COUNTY BANK RESUMES BUSINESS TODAY The Charles Mix County bank of Geddes resumed business as usual today following a temporary suspension last Tuesday, according to word received today by O. V. Meyhaus, president of the Corn Exchange bank. The officers succeeded in signing up each depositor for a period of one to five years, it was reported to Mr. Meyhaus. This was done to protect both the depositors and the borrowers and to eliminate the possibility of a run on the bank following the closing of the Bank of Geddes on Monday, the previous day. The bank remained open to accept deposits during the period of partial suspension.
