Sawyer County Bank Suspended Madison, Wis.—(AP)—Suspension of the Sawyer county bank at Hayward was announced today by the state banking department. The affairs of the bank have been turned over to the department for liquidation, acting commissioner Thomas J. Herried said. Clarence Wise, president of the bank, recently was killed in an accident. The institution had deposits of about $200,000, capital of $20,000 and surplus and undivided profits of $10,000.
