Former Green Bay Cashier Pleads Not Guilty to Charges Officer of Closed South Side State Bank Accused of Embezzlement of Funds Green Bay, Dec. Frank J. Slupinski, 33, former assistant cashier of the closed South Side State bank, pleaded not guilty when arraigned in municipal court late yesterday on charge of embezzling $1,000 of the bank's funds last June. The case was adjourned to January for hearing and bond was set $1,000. He permitted to sign his own bond. The complaint was signed by O. Houkum, examiner for the state banking department, who has been in charge the institution since it suspended business about a month ago.
