Livingston Bank Will Open Again Officers, Directors Will Be Chosen at Meeting Saturday LIVINGSTON—A meeting of the stockholders of the Livingston State bank will be held Saturday afternoon to elect a board of directors. As soon as this has been done executive officials will be elected and with the completion of a few minor formalities the bank will resume business. The Livingston State bank suspended operations in October frozen assets being mainly responsible. A reorganization was completed promptly and sufficient stock subscribed locally to insure restoring the bank to solvency. Portage Catholic Club to Honor Washington Program to Be Presented Friday Night PORTAGE—The Portage Catholic Women's club will join in the annual celebration of the Washington Bi-centennial when the study club of that organization holds its program Friday night at the home of Miss Cecelia Eulberg. The program will be carried out according to national plans made by the United States George Washington Bi-Centennial commission. The program, planned by the club's committee, follows: Patriotic music, Miss Marie Schwantz; pledge to the flag and the American's Creed, club members; Washington's Birthplace and Youth, Mrs. P. F. Ryan; Washington, the Man of Military and Civil action, Mrs. George O'Leary; Washington, the President, Mrs. Karl R. Schulze; the Star Spangled Banner, club members. Lenten services will follow the program.

First airplane to land on board a ship (1910). Phil was talking about moving-pictures of an airplane. After paying the sum of five cents, he had entered a theater. A short but exciting part of the program had been actual pictures of a biplane flying through the air. Soon after leaving the theater, he met me and told what he had seen.
