SELL PEOPLES BANK BUILDING AND PAY OFF There are a great many people in Sikeston who have enough nickels and dimes coming to them from the wreck of the Peoples Bank to buy a few messes of bacon and beans if the receiver could be induced to shake lose from the salary to wind up the final asset of the bank, the bank building. The Southeast Missouri telephone people, with headquarters at Cape Girardeau, put up a check with the late receiver, Ed Griffin, in good faith to bind the deal in
