THE COURTS. Cases on Trial-New - Suits Which Were Filed Yesterday. In the case of the Pacific bank vs. Lynch et al., Judge McKinley yesterday granted 15 days' stay of execution. Judge McKinley yesterday gave notice that he would go to San Diego to eit in cases where the superior judges are disqualified. During his absence Judge Pierce of San Diego will sit in his place. An information was filed by the district attorney yesterday against Peter Bidart, charging him with assault with a deadly weapon, and August 10th was set for his arraignment. NEW SUITS. Among the documents filed in the county clerk's office were the following: Divorce proceedings have been commenced by Caroline 8. Thompson vs. Paul Thompson. E. L. Burgoin vs. S. M. Perry company-Suit for $614 for services. Allen P. Nichols, assignee of Pomona bank, vs. E. T. Palmer-Suit on a promissory note for $6068.75; also same vs. R. 8. Day, suit on promissory note for $811.62. Petition by Kaspar Holze, Geo. H. Wise, G. A. Stephenson, O. P. Adams and O. B. Phillips to declare the City bank an insolvent debtor. The amount of the claims of the petitioners is $771.68. Dolores Blancarte VS. Troy Laundry company-Suit for $5500 damages for injuries sustained by an accident by which the plaintiff was run into by a team belonging to defendant.
