DELAY NAMING BANK RECEIVER Pratt Depositers Petition for Appointment of Emmet Barker Appointment of a receiver for the Citizens State bank at Pratt has been delayed and is causing some uneasiness reports John Hardesty, president of the bank which closed its doors because of frozen assets. Depositors representing threefourths of those with money in the closed institution have petitioned the state banking department to appoint Emmet Baker, old time resident of Pratt county and mayor of the city. Mr. Barker is pioneer resident and has the reputation of being one of the most substantial citizens of the county Mr. Hardesty says that he is confident every depositor can be paid in full if the affairs of the bank are not bungled. HEADS HAVEN 4-H CLUB Harold Tonn was elected president of the Haven 4-H club at the annual election of officers held at that place. He succeeds Arthur Kach. who was named as vice president for the coming year. Everett Cupps was elected secretary and treaswer and Wilma Tonn, song HALF MILLION HERRINGS BURN YARMOUTH, ENGLAND. Nov. 5. -(UP)-Half million herrings, in process of being cured, were destroyed by fire here.

Directors Would Enjoin And Discharge Bank Receiver Pratt, Nov. 30.--Six of the direc. tora of the failed Citizens State bank have filed suit in district court asking that proposed payment of 15 per cent dividend to depositors announced for Dec. 3 be halted. They seek re-opening of the bank, and ask that the bank commissionor "and alleged receiver" be enjoined, and Chas. W. Johnson removed as receiver. They maintain the bank still is sound and solvent. The directors bringing the Infunction suit are E. Hardesty, A B. Farmer. D. R. Scott, W. C. Banbury, M. H. Hodges and E. L Shaw.
