Minneola Bank Fails Topeka, Kan., Sept. 21.βThe First State bank of Minneola, Clark county, Kansas, was closed today by order of the state banking department, it was announced by State Bank Commissioner Carl J. Peterson. A bank examiner who reported the condition of the bank, gave "frozen assets" as cause of its condition. It has out agricultural loans on which it is unable to realize, it was explained. The bank has deposits of $105,000, its latest statement shows; surplus of $12,500. F. Crouch is president, A. P. Reece, vice president and Ed Ramsey, cashier.
