MAINE MATTERS Court Orders Boy Whipped. A ten-year-old Augusta youth, charged with several thefts in that city, was sentenced to "a darn good licking" by his father in Augusta municipal court Monday morning. Thefts of nearly a set of silverware from the Maine Central freight yards, theft of a gun from a parked automobile and several others were admitted by the youth. Other complaints had been received by Augusta police authorities. Unable to send the boy to on the morning of April 21, at 4.55. It is estimated that more than 2,000 persons will attend. Sues Bank Receiver. Charles H. Pulsifer of Waterville filed a suit for $2,000 in the United States district court in Portland Tuesday against Arthur G. Picher of Waterville, receiver for the Peoples Ticonic National bank. He alleges that money is due him from the bank. Restaurant Riot. Parsons' Creditors To Meet On Sept. 27 AUGUSTA, Sept. 13β€”First meeting of creditors of Wallace E. Parsons of Waterville, whose petition in bankruptcy was adjudicated Thursday at the office of Referee Walter M. Sanborn here, will be held Sept. 27 at 8 a. m. (EST) in the office of Mr. Sanborn. Parsons listed his liabilities at $258,060.40 and assets at $1,950.38, of which $350 is claimed exempt. The priority creditors are: Town of Concord, taxes, 1934 and 1935, $28; town of Bingham, taxes, 1934 and 1935, $38.40. The secured claims include: Receivers of Fidelity Trust Company, Portland, $37,061.98; Merrill Trust Company of Bangor, $13,128.75; receiver of People's Ticonic National Bank of Waterville, $19,511.23; First National Bank of Portland, $1,200.
