Polytechnic Bank Word Due Today An announcement may be made today by the officers of the First State Bank of Polytechnic, which closed simultaneously with the Texas National Bank Saturday, it was stated last night by S. S. Dillow, president of the Polytechnic bank. James Shaw, Austin, state banking commissioner, who arrived here yesterday to study the condition of the Polytechnic bank, announced last night that his examination has not been completed, but that a statement of its condition could be expected within a couple of days.
