Troutdale Bank Gets New Release The Troutdale State Bank was authorized to make an additional 10 per cent release of its restricted deposits in the savings department and five per cent of its restricted deposits in the commercial department. This makes total releases of 60 per cent in the savings department and 40 per cent in the commercial department. The order was issued by A. A. Schramm, state superintendent of banks. START BRIDGE WORK Work on the new county bridge on the Donald-Newberg road, one and one-half miles from Champoeg, began this week, the county court reported yesterday. The new bridge, 50 feet long with a 24-foot roadway, replaces an old covered structure. The new bridge will be of wooden construction on cedar piling. LEE DOW IN HOSPITAL MIDDLE GROVE, July 10.β€”Lee Dow was rushed to the Deaconess hospital early Saturday for an appendix operation. His condition was improved and it is thought that he will recuperate quickly.
