HUB MAN NAMED BANK RECEIVER J. G. Neno to Liquidate Affairs of First National Bank at Waynesboro HATTIESBURG, Sept. 9โ€”J. G. Neno, of this city received an appointment Thursday from J. F. O'Conner, comptroller of the currency, as receiver for the First National bank at Waynesboro which has been in process of liquidation for some time. Mr. Neno is well known in banking circles of Hattiesburg as well as throughout the state of Mississippi, and will leave this week, according to the report, for Waynesboro. The 15 year old evangelist, Charles Edward Jessup, who has been conducting a series of revivals over Mississippi, and who at present is holding a meeting at the Assembly of God in Hattiesburg has recently had 20 conversions. He is the youngest evangelist ever to preach in this city and throngs hear his sermons each evening.
