Three State Banks Reopen Wednesday Three Nebraska banks re-opened Wednesday under provisions of the emergency banking act. The Germantown State bank of Garland, the Farmers and Merchants bank of Byron and the Farmers bank of Dunbar are the institutions re-opened for a limited banking business. The Germantown bank suspended business February 9, the Byron bank, July 7, and the Dunbar bank was closed ten days ago. The Germantown and Dunbar banks will continue under the same officers and directors. A. E. Pailing will manage the Byron bank, according to the state banking department. SRB BILL PASSED. Senator Hugo Srb's bill, S. F. 193, to outlaw malpractice suits after two years was passed on third reading by the state senate Wednesday. The vote was 26 to 7.

The Fort Calhoun State Bank, Fort Calhoun, reopened March 2 for the purpose of doing limited banking business as provided under House Roll 167. This bank suspended January 13, 1933. The bank will be operated under the same management.
