Enid, Okla., Oct. 15.—Woodward, Okla., New State bank closed its doors Saturday and the institution is in the hands of a state examiner, according to a report from the flood swept town. Reasons for the bank's suspension of business have not been determined but the meager account received here said the recent withdrawals of deposits was the primary cause. The institution will be reorganized the bank examiner is reported to have said. Paul M. Lobaugh is president of the institution. It is capitalized at $25,000. The New State is the third banking institution in Woodward to fail within three years.
