Crocker Bank, making the San Francisco bank a preferred creditor. Furthermore it is contended the Bank of Nevada received nothing in return for the securities taken from it by the Reno National. The receiver requests that the collateral or its equivalent in money be returned to the Bank of Nevada by the RFC and the Crocker Bank. Sam Platt of Platt & Sinai argued the question for the bank receiver while the Crocker interests were represented by Woodburn & Thatcher, J. F. Shuman and John Thatcher.
