Cedar County State to Pay Depositors $8,811 An order from District Judge Mark J. Ryan has been filed with the clerk of the district court at Hartington for payment of an additional 5 per cent dividend to preferred creditors of the failed Cedar County State bank of Hartington. The payment will amount to $8,811.32 and will bring the total paid out by the bank to 40 per cent of its deposits at the time it closed. Receiver W. G. Barbour expects to have the dividend checks ready within the next few weeks. The order was issued Feb. 12 by Judge Ryan to E. H. Luikart, receiver for state banks.
