BANK RECEIVER ISSUES CHECKS Edinburg, May 4.-A large number of checks, representing $37,000 in dividends from the defunct Thompson state bank which closed more than two years ago, were is sued today by I. J. Waltz, liquidating agent. A light but steady flow of former depositors who had accounts in the bank when it closed called for their money this morning The payment totalled 20 per cent of the amount remaining after the other dividends had been paid.

The undersigned, by virtue of an order of the Johnson Circuit court, of Johnson County, Indiana, made and entered in a cause therein pending entitled IN THE MATTER OF LIQUIDATION OF THE THOMPSON STATE BANK OF EDINBURG, INDIANA, being No. 8598 on the dockets thereof, hereby give notice that, at 10:00 o'clock A. M. on the 6th day of April, 1935, and from day to day thereafter, they will offer for sale, at private sale, at The Thompson State Bank in Edinburg, Indiana, and for not less than the full appraised value thereof, the following described real estate situated in Bartholomew County, in the State of Indiana, to-wit: The Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section Eleven (11), Township Ten (10) North, of Range Four (4) East, except Six and Twenty-five hundredths (6.25) acres off of the North end thereof, containing Thirty-three and Seventy-five hundredths (33.75) acres.
