Banking Affairs Are Returning to Normal Boyd County State Bank Is Temporarily Under 10% Restriction The county returned nearly to normal after the bank holiday ended and its effects subsided this week. The Boyd County State Bank of Anoka is temporarily under a restriction on withdrawals, which are limited to 10 per cent. The bank had its choice of several plans for immediate reopening and chose to protect its depositors by preventing any possible run on the bank after reopening. The state banking department may raise the restriction, or change it, at any time. The Spencer State bank and the Nebraska State bank of Bristow, had already reorganized, freezing their old deposits, so that no further restrictions at this time were necessary.
