BANK CLOSES Lincoln, Sept. 30. (AP)—State Bank Commissioner Woods announced Thursday the Chappell State bank had suspended business and is closed pending efforts to reorganize the institution. He will leave here tomorrow night for a conference with officials of the bank. A. F. Jorgenson, examiner, is in charge. Population of the Netherland East Indies has increased about 23 per cent since 1920. It is now about 1,000,000.
